Magnetic Island

Had enjoyable few days on Magnetic Island as we prepared ourselves for the big trip. The wedding was different, being held on the beach at sunset but still very good. It was a mixture of a Jewish wedding and a Christian wedding but it was good and certainly very relaxed. It was also great to be able to spend time with family over the few days that we had here. Certainly has very nice beaches, not that I went swimming - it wasn't that hot!

On the night of the reception, Magnetic Island had one of it's coldest nights and the reception happened to be out side, so it got a little chilly but was still a great night.

We are now in Singapore, waiting for the plane to fly to Frankfurt having just had a seven hour flight from Brisbane to Singapore, which was quite uneventuful. Looking forward to catching up with Gudrun and Ernst tomorrow lunchtime.
